Mental Health Support

A winding dirt trail through a green field with dense trees, leading toward distant blue mountains under a cloudy sky.

Where are you right now?

Clients land in my office who have been working toward mental well-being and following a plan for a long time. Despite therapy, lifestyle changes, and all of the other ways they’re trying, the progress is slow or nonexistent.

Others come to me so overwhelmed right now that they are unable to access the tools and strategies that would normally support progress. The right psychiatric support can create conditions that allow for progress through the personal growth process.

Using Medication to Support the Life You’re Building

In my practice, Medication works the way scaffolding around a building might. It holds the structure steady while the foundational work is taking place underneath.

Therapy  |  Lifestyle  | Relationships

While that foundation is taking hold, psychiatric medication becomes a support. The goal of medication is to assist you in finding your baseline, the place from which possibility arises.

I value your voice throughout the process, and we work together to create a plan that aligns with your needs and lifestyle. Our work is in line with the mental health care you are currently receiving.

Clients sometimes come to me unhappy with their current mental health care, and in those instances we take a look together to determine how best to move forward.

Before You Book

My practice may not suit your needs if you are seeking a prescription without interest in therapy or lifestyle factors. If you are not ready to engage in the psychiatric process over time, my practice structure may not be for you.

About

I'm a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a background in integrative psychiatry and somatic therapies. I have over a decade of work in the psychedelic-assisted therapy space as well.

I've been in private practice since 2012, and my approach to medication is built on using the minimum effective dose to support the life you're building.

The intake appointment is the first step in our work together and provides an opportunity for an authentic conversation about what's been going on, what you've already tried, and what you're looking for. By the end, you'll have a clear sense of whether this practice is the right fit and what comes next.

For those who prefer to connect briefly before booking an intake, a 15-minute introductory call is available for $100.

Current clients can schedule follow-up appointments by logging in to the Charm patient portal.
